I am very excited to announce that Pokemon League play is coming back to Richmond Comix! Starting Sunday September 18th we will have weekly league play from 12:30pm until 3:30 pm. Its been a couple of years since our last league and we are very excited for the return of Pokemon.
I plan to bring my kids up to play some fun and family friendly card games and I hope to see some of you there.
What?s a Pok?mon Trading Card Game League?
Pok?mon League provides a nearby place for you to get together with other fans of both the Pok?mon Trading Card Game and the Pok?mon video games to have some fun. Using your own cards and Pok?mon DS games, you can play, trade, and even earn cool prizes! The best part is that you can do all of this with other Pok?mon players who love collecting and playing just as much as you do.
Even if you don?t know all the rules of the game, at a league you can learn game basics and, in no time, perfect your strategy! Joining a league is the best way to hone your skills to compete in Pok?mon tournaments?from Battle Roads all the way up to the World Championships. Leagues are held in safe, public locations, such as game stores, community centers, or libraries, and are run by official League Leaders.
